wTF is work talk podcast?
My hope is that people enjoy, learn, or get inspired by the stories of the people in the Bay Area - what they do for work, what they know, and who they are.
Now, this podcast is real casual, sometimes we cuss, it’s not meant to be vanilla-school-friendly. You know, the production ain’t even high quality either, but I like it that way. I want it to feel authentic, informal - like an unplugged conversation between friends.
I’m grateful to have spoken with all kinds of people. I do vibe with topics/people in entrepreneurship, side projecteers, tech, creatives, video game nerd types, social justice work, arts, business, job searching, career/person dev; these are things I’m into. Though I’m always down to chat with someone about a field not related to this; I may not have much to say, but I’m naturally curious to know more.
Every time someone tells me they learned something, gained a resource, reached out to a guest, took advantage of an opportunity I posted, got motivated by someone’s story, or thought it was funny when we made corny jokes - that right there is the flavor I want someone to taste and feel when they connect with me and everyone else that is part of this collective movement of dropping knowledge, career/personal development - Work Talk.
